The Christmas Angel
A long time ago, there was a little girl who ran away one week before christmas. No one knew where to look for her. She was cold, lonely, and hungry. She was very smart though, and to make some money she set her little hat on the ground in front of her, and started to sing christmas songs. People started to gather around her and put money in her hat.
"Now i can get some food," she said. Three days had passed, and she wanted to go home.
She kept thinking to herself, if only i could get enough money to get a cab to take me home. Although she was afraid that her family didn't want her to come back.
Meanwhile, the little girls family had called to local police and reported her missing. The mother was in tears, and the father's stomache was in knots. "Please Lord, bring my baby home to me unharmed," he said.
Just then a knock at the door, the mother went to open it. Low and behold, their 8 yr old daughter was standing at the door. "Now we can have a good Christmas," said the little girl.
